Slice of heaven in the shade of monstrous rains forest type trees, multiple multiple courses scattered through the woods, any kids dream. We had a ball, staff were absolutely great, thorough with safety, professional, friendly, sense of humour and so helpful to those who got stuck haha everyone should go
Last year, 2015, we hosted our eldest son's party at Trees Adventure. This year our youngest son wanted his party here, and we obliged.
This party was to celebrate a 6th birthday, and our 12 guests included 2 9-yr-old olds and 10 4-6 year olds.
Unlike last year, the course was suitable for under 5's. That's because there are 2 new courses specially designed for the younger kids. What's awesome about these courses is that they are accessible from the ground by adults - just in case they get stuck. One of our guests, a light lass, didn't have the body weight for the flying fox. But no fear. We just helped her along with a gentle push!
To enter the 4-7yr courses, safety gates must be opened by adults. The attachment system for the younger kids is foolproof. They attach at the start of the course, and can't progress without attachment. They don't change attachment points at all. At the end of the course, they slide off.
To add some challenges for the smaller kids, there's also a challenge wheel. Spin the wheel and follow the instructions. My son spun up 'monkey' so he and a mate had to do the course holding hands.
With kids, nothing runs 100% smoothly, and with us was a boy who was a bit scared. The instructors were amazing with him, patient and calm. Perhaps the greatest challenge for him was a spider on the course. We were prepared to bring him down, but the instructor swooped in, removed the arachnid, and B continued to finish the course. Win!
During the session these angels were kept busy with other guests as well. No scream or cry was left uninvestigated with several adults needing assistance in various areas of the park. Great sense of safety.
Meanwhile the older boys were in the age-appropriate courses by themselves, with another father joining them for the courses they need supervision.
We chose again for a deck to have the party stuffs, and on this 38-degree day it was worth it. Shade, seats... A central hub with tables for the food and cake. Just the perfect size, and with views of the kids courses.
Will we return? You betcha. Just us adults, no kids.. To really push ourselves.
This place is amazing, staff were friendly, area was clean and well maintained, reasonably priced and safety comes first.
There are many levels of difficulty, but none are for the faint hearted! Plenty of upper body strength needed with some zip lines in between. I pushed my personal boundary and was really happy I could do that in a safe manner.
I will be back and I intend to do a harder more challenging inc level next time!
Thanks for the great experience!
I brought my brother who was visiting Sydney and his friends to Grose River Park Trees Adventure. They signed up without knowing what they were in for. They thought it would only be a walk in the park. Boy were they surprised. We started with the green course then moved to the blue and red courses. Eventually we mustered enough courage to go onto the black course. Like I mentioned in the title, the struggle was real but we had a lot of fun. It was a great achievement completing 4 courses. We were lucky we went on a Monday as we had the whole place to ourselves. Sophie was amazing. She was very accommodating and assisted us throughout. If you want to workout and have fun at the same time you ought to try this activity.
Well worth the drive to experience a high adventure.
This is suitable for most people depending on agility and nerve!
The choice of difficulty gives you the chance to start easy then test yourself with the more difficult course.
Safety is as you would expect and the staff are fantastic, nothing was a problem for them.
The price seems reasonable for a two hour session and it makes us want to go back for more.
Definitely worth a try!
Just returned from a great morning with the family ( husband and adult daughters ) there is tree climbing for all levels of fitness. Black being the hardest Red intermediate and blue easy. We started with the blue then the Red was so much fun and a real challenge. Would highly recommend it.
