We had originally intended to grab a pub meal but then decided to see if they could fit us into the restaurant. Despite being a Friday night and very busy the staff were very accommodating and before long we had a table. The service was impeccable and the food delightful. The lamb rump was beautifully cooked with great morrocan flavourings in the accompanying vegetables. My husband was equally pleased with the steak. We treated ourselves to great deserts. The local wine recommended of Eldorado Shiraz was terrific. Thank you to the Empire Hotel team for a great experience.

We had dinner in the restaurant and were very happy. The goat cigars were fantastic as was the lamb. The servings were generous. Its a very casual restaurant and the staff were friendly. We’ll be back.

Delicious food. Very comfortable beds in rooms, close to all the attractions. Shared bathrooms and simple breakfast provided.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a meal here tonight. The scallops for entree were delicious and the steak for main was cooked to perfection. The wine list was extensive. The atmosphere was relaxed and we greatly enjoyed our night. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel has gone from grungy to funky. Good restaurant and other tapas options. Good service, great location
