Had dinner there and shared the great tapas style food. We totally loved all the food we ordered. All meals were stacked with a heap of flavour. We enjoyed the chipolata sausages, bourbon chicken drumettes, pulled pork sliders, onion rings and fries. We had great selection of local craft beers to choose from.The staff were friendly. Will definitely be back.

The service is smooth, non intrusive yet efficient & friendly. Great local wines & beer available. The food is unquestionably the best in town at the moment. Well priced for what you get.

We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant section of Hotel. This is out the back and can be accessed from the hotel or the side street. It is far enough away from the bar that there is no noise transferred.

The food and wine was excellent, the service friendly and efficient. A great meal!

Passing through Beechworth on our way back to Sydney, this recently refurbished hotel was recommended to us.
Not disappointed. The food was just amazing and way above what you would term as “pub food”. This is 2 or 3 hat quality. I had the buttermilk brined lamb rump with radicchio agrodolce and creamed potato. My wife the snapper with beetroot, preserved lemon butter and asparagus.
Both were outstanding meals comparable to a Michelin star restaurant.
I can’t highly recommend enough this great place to eat with extremely friendly and efficient staff

This historical hotel is really worth the time to visit. It plays a definite role in the amazing history of the area. Our guide included it in his tour and it was worth the stop and the time.
