We'd booked here to be near the lovely Centennial Park and to be close to an old friend who lives nearby - encouraged by the 'boutique' label adopted by the Hughenden.
What we found disappointing was the room: small, plain & poorly lit.
Not enough surface space to make a cup of tea without putting the electric kettle on the floor.
Similarly small bathroom with little space for the contents of our toilet bag.
Breakfast, which was served from the small reception desk, did not involve a lot of choice.
Also, difficult to find a place to park nearby.
On the positive side, they did have a pleasant open-air roof terrace adjacent to the room we occupied, but we weren't there at an appropriate time to make use of it.
I wouldn't book here again.More
