Had a great day with the kids, we all had hours of fun and there is plenty to do. Catch a ferry is a must. Thank god my kids can walk though as I would of hated to push a pram up and down that zoo, yes it has ramps but still very steep. Overall a great time.

Visited here with lots of kids from 10 to 16. Very interactive and despite having been many times, always fun and different. Kids loved going into the lemurs and the birds show is a must with the harbour behind you in all its glory. Did the high wires also. Great day out.

If you are an animal lover then this zoo is for you, it is a very large zoo so expect to spend a few hours here. It has different zones with different animals, you can get up close to some of them. We managed to time our visit to watch the feeding of some animals which was great as the animal taker would also explain about the animals routines, history etc. There is also a kangaroo park where you can walk next to them.

On the day of our visit it was pouring down with rain so we were worried the animals would be hiding but we were wrong, they were still out and visible.

A great place to visit ... even for adults, in a beautiful setting. We pre-purchase tickets online and we're able to ride up from the ferry on the cable car, rather than wait for and catch the bus - a real plus. Really recommend the free flight bird show - very entertaining.
