I came in group of five and as soon as we step in, we were greeted and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We were seated outside at the porch which was nice but the plastic was down so we didn’t get any breeze and it was a really humid day. There are no aircon or fan and we felt quite warm and slightly uncomfortable.
One of our party has allergy and they are happy to accomodate for her. We all ordered Morning Tea and it was wonderful and tasted amazing. You choose your preferred tea and was served in this beautiful metal teapot, but it was really hard to pour because it was too hot to handle even after awhile. There was also tea ring on the bottom of my cup, which I am not impressed but didn’t say anything.
We have two hours to enjoy the teas and the staff came around to let us know and also offered us containers if we want to take home what’s left.
Despite all of the above, there are plus points, great spot, friendly helpful staff and amazing high teas. I love to come back again and hopefully the teapot is easier to handle then.
