This location has amazing walking trails and vantage points. Firstly it’s a short but excellent walk to either the Balmoral beach or Chowder beach (with a few cafes and restaurants in case you desire a nibble). Secondly, do head to George’s Head for some panoramic views of the city skyline and also as far away to Watson’s bay. This place is also of historical importance as it had numerous cannons installed as a part of the battery erected to secure the harbour from military ships. A few canons have been left aside to preserve this history. Makes for a good half day visit / walk within the cosy confines of Sydney
