Went out on a cold Friday evening with some friends for a dinner and the environment inside was warm, cozy and very welcoming. Best food in Manly, we absolutely loved the Zaatar Mushrooms and Fish Tagine served in here. Highly recommended for a good night out and amazing food. Hats off to the team👏👏

Third time we have come here.

This time, truthfully, it didnt start well. Despite booking a table for four 5 weeks ago, we were given the worst table in the place right in front of the door where every time it was opened, a gush of cold wind hit us. When we "complained" while we were being shown the table, the waiter just shrugged his shoulders. The $8.50 per person corkage (for a BYO restaurant) also seemed extravagant.

But things improved somewhat from there. The food is nice (although servings are not huge and dont seem to have changed much over the years) and came out at a good pace and the staff are friendly. Atmosphere is nice although can be noisy - limiting the ability to hear people who arent next to you. Restaurant was full so presumably others liked the food as well.

We really loved dining at Maestro and co. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was very well handled. I appreciate the team for putting together such a good experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Maestro is rated the no 1 restaurant in Manly. We were excited to visit. We quickly realized (to our horror! ) that this was a no alcohol restaurant, so a quick trip to the local off licence for some wine and we then perused the menu.
Our waiter for the evening seemed uninterested in us and was almost sullen in his demeanour. There was no small talk at all. This really shaped the atmosphere for the evening.
The food was superb, particularly the lamb tagine, but at no point were we approached to see how we were getting on. Just goes to show that it isn’t always just about the food!

Thank you for the Review,
The website clearly states that we don’t supply alcoholic beverages, And in regard to the service we were one person down last night, for one person to run the drinks and food for a fully booked out restaurant on the night hats off.
Note: The 2 guys that supposed to serve you last night had motorbike accident on the way to work, but still came to work and served you on the night in distress, the other guy still in hospital
With a broken ribs.
Thank you again for the review, we hope to see you soon in better circumstances.

This is a place that could easily be missed but a must do. The ambiance is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is wonderful. We’ve tried the Veggie Tagine, the Fish Tagine and the Lamb Tagine. They were all very different with fantastic flavours. We also have had a selection of tapas dishes which were very tasty. My only negative would be that a couple of the serving sizes such as the cauliflower were on the small side.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
