The golf course is beautifully positioned on the headland with stunning views of beaches on both sides. The course condition is very good although when i recently played there had been fairly heavy rain throughout the previous week making the bunkers unplayable and sections of the fairways very soft. The beach views and location reminds me of Pebble Beach with similar flukey breezes while the significant elevation changes and heavy rough if off line bought back memories of Kapalua Plantation.
A 20 marker i was thrilled to be even par after 3 holes but the 4th and 5th bought me back to reality before another stint of pars from 8 - 13 got the round back on track.
There is great pro shop, good pracitice facilities, greens are excellent and the course makes you think - looking forward to returning with a bit more local knowledge.
