Description: At Brewers Fayre we've thought of everything. Great value, great food, great family friendly atmosphere; we've got the lot. Our menu is packed full of family favourites all freshly prepared by our trained Chefs. Barry Island was newly built in Autumn 2012 & today we are a modern restaurant with a slightly art deco feel. Overlooking the waterfront, we are just a short walk from Barry Island Beach, the steam railway & Barry Island Pleasure Park, & not far from Cardiff Airport & Porthkerry Park. Our tasty pub food, served up in generous portions by our friendly team, is great value & worth coming back for time & time again!

Brewers fayre - my fav ever place to eat bu this place is well behind the rest. Food is average at best and they need a lesson in cleaning their tables among other things . No where near the standard of their other restaurants over cooked, under cooked you name it. Avoid!

Popped in for a drink with family. The buffet food looked dry and unappealing and not cheap. The tiny bar area is useless so we sat outside with views of the dock and a main road. Ok for a quick drink but nothing else.

A basic family pub, did not go for food. The buffet style dinner looked unappealing. Overall the staff are friendly and it is reasonably priced great when you have to by the round for many!

Visited here on the 24th March with some family and we were told there would be a 45 minute wait as they were really busy (normally a good sign) we sat on the tables and then went to the bar to place our orders for food and drinks. After a while our food arrived and I ordered the cheesy chick burger which was the size of a beer mat with soggy chips. I wanted to put a complaint in about charging over 10 pound for a happy meal but was told by family members it isn't worth it. Shall not be returning.

This area of Barry is undergoing renovation so this restaurant appears new and modern. Service was very friendly and our server was chatty. Being from South Africa am not used to having to order from the bar but the food and drinks were good. When the whole are is fully renovated think it will improve the vibes of the place.
