“Perfect, just perfect”
Reviewed 25 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Lovely cottage; cosy, immaculately decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with absolutely everything one could want for comfort and ease. Very kind and thoughtful owners who provide a great personal service. Stunning area, with incredible views, walks, nature, history and food. The locals are lovely, very friendly. I strongly recommend The Sloop and The Shed at Porthgain, which serve the best fish I have ever tasted (and a lovely glass of Gwynt Y Ddraig). The coastal path runs along the cliff in places, but is well worth enduring occasional slight vertigo for the discoveries which await around every corner; Iron Age forts, falcons, seals, fascinating geology and the loveliest beaches I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Nowhere could be nicer to stay than Brynteg and I can't wait to go back for another visit. Thank you from my heart for a truly blissful holiday.

“cosy cottage in a beautifully scenic area”
Reviewed 5 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed here with our two children during the last week of the summer holidays. Unfortunately the weather was inclement for most of the week and it was great to come back to a warm, cosy and well equipped cottage. It had everything you could need for a self catering holiday including the basics like washing up liquid, kitchen roll, herbs and spices as well as lots of really useful extras like clothes airer, hair dryers in each room, flask and picnic set. Although we hadn't realised from the description on the website that the bathroom was located on the ground floor and accessed through the kitchen.

Located in a small village just 1/2 mile off the coastal path, the cottage offers great access to secluded coves and towering cliffs. It would be a great base for a walking or beach holiday, in good weather, but we had to travel around south pembrokeshire to keep the kids entertained and wifi access would have been really useful to check-out some of the attractions beforehand.

There is a pub and a great little cafe in the village called 'The Mill', with very friendly service and the biggest breakfast I have ever seen!! So tasty too and the perfect start to a day on the coast.

“Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location.”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We had a wonderful holiday at Brynteg. The cottage is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the coastal path and it is comfortable and cosy. Brynteg is very well-equipped and well-maintained. The garden has lovely views over the countryside.

Trefin made an excellent base for a Pembrokeshire holiday, as it is close to St Davids and many beaches, as well as being a short drive to the main roads to Tenby and Pembroke. We also found it handy to have a Spar at the nearby garage on the St Davids road.

“a real slice of heaven”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We arrived after a very long journey, as soon as we came into the cottage we felt at home.It was very well equiped. It was cosy, warm and had a lovely atmosphere. The owners had thought of everything right down to outdoor loungers and parasol. The garden was delightful.
The village was friendly, had a fab cafe called the Mill,( brill breakfasts and scones)
The information given by the owners regarding what to see etc really helped us get to understand and enjoy the area. We throughly enjoyed our stay, just wished we had booked for two weeks.
