Wonderful cottage with spacious accommodation (we know the cottage as Pendre Uchaf). It is well presented, very clean and tidy with lovely quality furniture and the most comfortable snuggly bed ever!! The bathroom is sparkly clean and very modern. The cottage's owners live in the farm across the lane and are so helpful and friendly. There were fresh flowers, fruit and Welsh cakes left as a welcome and other thoughtful extras such as fresh milk, sugar and teabags. Our car didnt quite make it to the cottage as we arrived during the snowiest March ever but Arwel Evans, the owner did not bat an eyelid when he received our SOS call and left his farm duties to come rescue us and transport us, our dog and our luggage the last 3 miles of our journey to the cottage. Arwel and his wife Meryl also went out of their way to take us to the pub on Saturday night so we could still have a meal out, and then on our last day they took us back to our snowed in car to ensure we returned safely home. They invited us to the farm where we saw a lovely litter of sheepdog puppies (soooo cute!!). This is a wonderful cottage with lovely walks (only 10 minutes walk down the lane you will find the Clocaenog Forestry with picnic area and lovely wooded walks). We plan to return again asap as a weekend just wasnt enough!!
