The apartment is great - really good quality accommodation - we have been coming with family regularly for over 20 years and this was by far best apartment we've stayed in - apart from the frustration of the low ceilings. While accommodation has improved unfortunately the facilities linked to the apartments have really gone downhill over the years - losing the pitch and put course, most of the tennis courts, softball court, bowing green and most disappointingly at very short notice the outside pool was shut for repairs although no work was going on.
The location though is fantastic - our children and now grandchildren love the small beach 2 mins walk away - great for rockpooling as well as the lovely main beach 10 mins away. This really is a lovely location for an old fashioned family holiday - especially if the weather is good!
First of all , the apartment was lovely beautifully furnished , with a great sea view and the owners provided much to make visitors stay as good an experience as possible eg books, childrens games, travel cot, DVD's , Sky TV etc. The facilities are good, dedicated parking bays outside the door, private use of the swimming pools by the hour etc. 10 mins walk from the beach and restaurants
This apartment is on the top floor and accessible by two stair cases, the higher one is external, it is therefore unsuitable for people with difficulties on stairs. The room is partially built in the attic space and in parts the ceiling is low, a couple of bumped heads resulted on our visit.
We would recommend The Cadwalader to anyone and would definately return.
