“Excellent family accommodation in a quiet spot”
Reviewed 20 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Enjoyed a long weekend with my family celebrating a birthday. The house was well appointed and large enough for 6 adults and 2 toddlers. It's located in a quiet position at the top of a hill which makes it private and safe for young children. My grandsons enjoyed exploring the large garden which had fantastic views over the bay and countryside. There are great walks to the beach and a fantastic restaurant nearby called The White Eagle.
The house benefits from having a second lounge and a conservatory which is great to sit in late afternoon when the sun is beating down.
I would definitely recommend for a large group or family and hope to return in the future.

“Fabulous family accommodation for a great holiday.”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The house was great but the garden was even better. My grandson must have run miles in the extensive grounds. The weather wasn't brilliant but that didn't spoil the holiday. Would all love to revisit.

“Excellent, family friendly, seaside holiday cottage in Anglesey”
Reviewed 8 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We booked Hilltop very last minute, with the fabulous help and guidance of it's owner, Paul. He was more than happy to answer all my daft questions and offer tips before we even left home about where to eat and drink. The cottage was huge, with spacious bedrooms for all 8 of us, 2 travel cots which meant we were able to leave one of them in the living room for our 10 month old daughter to play in and one in the bedroom for her to sleep in. There were tennis rackets for the kids to run us ragged with, in the enormous, circumventing garden, (with bay views to Dublin at the top). There were 3 living rooms, including the kitchen/diner/snug with wood burning stove; conservatory, which I'm sure my grandmother would have slept in too if she could and board games and marbles in the third to keep the kids entertained on the one day it rained. The American fridge/freezer was a god send... Not least for fitting all the beers in! It's also right next door to a great bar/restaurant that has free WiFi, so you can get a good meal, drink and catch up with the gossip and still walk home on 2 minutes. Would highly recommend for couples travelling together and especially families. Our age group was 10 months to 77 years and we all loved the place. Thank you Hilltop for making our weekend in Anglesey perfect!

“Well worth the 8 hour journey we had to get there SUPERB break”
Reviewed 30 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We only had a short weekend at Hilltop but the house and furnishings suited our family of 8 - 4 adults 4 children wonderfully very comfortable and excellent facilities for a holiday home . Our little 4 year old hasn't stopped talking about the holiday house. We definitely will go back and judging by the children's reactions sooner rather than later. Easy to book and with directions given by the owner we found it late at night easily. Highly recommended for families with the beach a short walk and plenty of facilities around. We had a couple of cosy evenings by the log burner with the children.

This is the second time we have stayed in the house and both times we have loved it. It is very well furnished and equipped, the décor is very nice and the location is perfect. There are great walks down to 2 lovely beaches with lots of interesting things for the kids to see and do. The house is peaceful, lovely and warm and very spacious - we stayed with 5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space for us all without ever feeling cramped or getting under each others feet.

The owners are extremely genuine and very helpful.

I can't recommend it enough.
