If you are interested in history this is a must especially if you take the opportunity to visit the later Iron Age village and Medievil church ruin.

What a fantastic place in the middle of nowhere. Kept safe by the barrier around it so no climbing on this one, but a great find between Lligwy and Moelfre

Be sure to stop here when visiting Moelfre. Very impressive, especially when you consider the top slab weighs over 20 tons! They say it was probably covered with an earth mound at one time. Leaves you in awe of our ancient ancestors. I like the fact it is right beside the road, too, because I am lazy and don't like to walk far!

My partner and I visited at dusk, started with the burial chamber, then the village ruins before heading to the church site. The views of the bay are gorgeous with phenomenal colours in the sky at sunset. We skipped venturing downstairs in the church due to it being pitch black by this time and just a bit too spooky for us!
We loved our visit, a very interesting site but definitely something for during the day.

Visited several sites over the holidays and this was one of the better ones. Nice for a short stop off if you are interested in history.
