“Cosy, spacious cottage”

Cottage can sleep 5, 2 large bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Whole property was clean and well organised, bathroom had a good shower and a deep bath, plenty of hot water. Kitchen well equipped with large fridge freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine and a fair sized table. Plenty of seating in the living room, large TV, good wifi. Plenty of space, but has a lovely cosy feel to it, storage heaters kept the place warm, and there was an extra fire/radiator if needed. Lots of helpful information provided, arrival and departure were easy. You can park directly outside the cottage. A pet friendly cottage (we took a rabbit and cat), but no sign of any previous animal visitors, enclosed back yard was great for the rabbit, easy clean laminate floors downstairs. The front garden would have been lovely for sitting out in warmer weather. The location is secluded, but not isolated, several other houses in the village, just a few miles from the coast, but extremely quiet with a great view of the night sky when it's clear. You do need a car, as the nearest bus stop was a few miles away. We found the door locks to be quite tricky, and didn't use the bikes as the chains needed some serious oil, but these were very minor niggles. On the whole, a very relaxing holiday, so highly recommended.
