“Very good holiday”
Reviewed 1 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This was the first time we had been to the main house( ground floor apartment), we had stayed in one of the cottages before and the apartment was very spacious indeed. We were looking for space and got it in abundance. The only drawback this year was the parking which was difficult at times and this was raised with Ann. The problem was both cottages had tenants with a car to each cottage and Ann and Richard both had their cars on he drive so it did get crowded at times. We had never stayed in a house before which still had the original bells from when there were servants and these were truly fascinating especially to my husband who is a history buff. Previous reviewers had commented adversely on the energy bills for their stay but we found them to be very reasonable so it looks like it depends how much you use the central heating. etc. We had a very good holiday in a memorable house.

“Lovely character house”
Reviewed 26 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Stayed at Nantyfelin with my wife, mother-in-law and her best friend, plus two dogs, for four nights. Lovely and spacious accommodation with great character - original tiled floors in the hall, dining room and kitchen; fireplaces; original features in lounge and bedrooms. Two double bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor so ideal for limited mobility visitors. Double and twin ensuites with showers upstairs. More like a Victorian villa, with great views to the front from all rooms, over the bay and the castle. Would be easy to spend all your time relaxing in the comfortable surroundings and gardens (natural stream running through) without going out anywhere, but also ideally placed for touring Snowdonia, the Llyn peninsula and Cambrian coast. There are two small cottages to the rear and part of the large house is separated as a private apartment, so visitors share the gardens and parking on the driveway, but this in no way detracts from the pleasure of this accommodation.

“Fantastic base for Margaret's walking challenge . . . .”
Reviewed 11 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

My son, brother and I stayed with my sister at this fantastic place for a week at the end of April, to assist my sister in her personal challenge of waking the Gwynedd Coast Path from Porthmadog to Caernarfon. The accommodation could not have been more spacious, luxurious and comfortable and the appointments were superb - we were all very impressed. The cooking and laundry arrangements are second to none - the grounds are great and well maintained - the parking is very convenient. However, if you feel that you wish to escape the cooking - Criccieth boasts some great restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended

“Amazing!!!!!!!”
Reviewed 24 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The house itself is absolutely charming and we fell in love at first sight. The location is superb and the views to die for. Everything you need is within walking distance. Our children adored the stream which runs through the front garden and preferred this to the beach! Being allowed to take our dogs was the icing on the cake. The owners were delightful. Ann came to meet us on arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation and will hopefully be able to return in the not too distant future.

Thank you both so much for this lovely review you are very kind. Your children were so good and lovely to have a chat with them !! Our grandchildren loved to play in the stream as you say its more interesting than the beach and very shallow. We have no objection to well behaved dogs and yours were very well behaved. Thanks again and we hope to see you soon.regards Richard and Ann
