Children ate hake with evident enjoyment. This has never happened before with any kind of fish except cod, even more amazingly it was not in batter! We only popped in here to shelter from some truly epic weather, but I am so glad we did. The fish monger in the courtyard also sold us some lovely things to cook at home.
The staff were lovely and even trawled their bins when we came back after a few minutes to search for a special shell which my son had left on the table.
