Loved the location and the roof top area. Onsite staff was very helpful and kind. Our 2 bedroom unit offered lots of space. It was clean, but could use a deep cleaning. Mold in both showers, hair in the shower, spots on the bathroom wall and overhead light bulb out in the master bath.
The parking situation is a big problem. We parked several blocks away. Since we walked everywhere, it was not an issue. Before I booked this unit, is appeared parking was across the street with a tunnel. This was not the case. If we had arrived after dark, I would have been afraid. Who pulls their luggage several blocks down the street????
Great location. Beautiful old building. Quiet and near the river walk. 10 min max walk to Beale Street. Clean apartment, great beds and linen, big and very good wifi. Kitchen very well equipped as well. Basement area with pool table etc great for the kids too! Just a couple of cons - the apartment was dark - we had to have most of the lights on even during the day. And the second bedroom had no windows so like sleeping in a box. (our friend's apartment even worse - they had no windows in either bedroom and their apartment was even darker as they faced the courtyard).
The shops they recommended to buy food wasn't really sufficient if you are staying for a few days or more (unless you want to eat out all the time). We had to uber to the supermarket which cost around USD6; worth the cost.
I came down from NY to compete in the 33rd International Blues Challenge on Beale street . the apt made me comfortable
The apartment was modern and clean and had everything we needed for our week in Memphis. The building staff were also very helpful. The main reasons we didn't rate this apartment more highly were firstly because the promised king bed did not exist (both beds were queens) and because the bedrooms had no windows (so no natural light - always had to keep a light on). But if those things don't matter to you, these are very nice apartments with generous bathrooms and storage.
