We dropped in for blues and were surprised at how great the food was! It was a pleasant surprise to have the place put so much effort into making the food as great as the bands. The wait staff were on the ball too! The gal checked in with us often and kept the napkins and drinks coming. Be sure to stop in.

We booked a reservation for the 5.00 show. The staff was very welcoming and accomodated our reservation to be seated on the balcony. This was a great way to see the band and eat. We brought our 6 year old. He found the music too loud (not unreasonable for a 6 year old) so we had to leave right after our food arrived. Staff was helpful in boxing up our food so we could leave promptly. From what I heard ,the music was awesome! The food, even cold, was very good!

Stopped in for lunch on the way out...I had a bowl of gumbo, he had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent! Best gumbo I ate, down on beale. The live blues band rocking out on stage, added to the good vibe and rhythms of the Memphis blues scene. Recommended stop by, even if just for a drink and live music!

This was our second visit to Memphis. First time was before our daughter was born. Our daughter is 13 and we went back and we were able to sit upstairs and enjoy the band and a fantastic B.B. King Blues house band. The Nachos and Fried pickles were delicious! Good food, drinks and music! Can’t wait to go back again. There was a small cover charge for the band. Food and drinks were delicious and reasonable.
