This is a great place for a special meal with amazing views and lovely food. Three choices on the main menu for veggies; not sure if the curry might also have been vegan. Would have been nice if one of the specials had been a veggie meal.
Prices around the £14 mark for mains and about £6 for puds.
Food of good quality.
The dark haired bar lady and waitress was SO lovely, warm and friendly.
She suggested that my Dad could walk out the back entrance as he is disabled.
Meal for 5 with mainly water to drink was £115.
The views from the bar and restaurant are spectacular.
A lot of steps up to the front door.
See below for veggie pancake meal and the frangipane and coconut tart.

Fantastic choice of options. Both had specials, my wife had herb crusted salmon and I had lamb meatballs, both were beautifully cooked. Service was fantastic and was lovely evening and decent value as both had desserts as well! All eaten with a beautiful view over Loch Earn.

Food excellent and plenty of it. Rooms and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly. I have however one niggle and that is the central heating boiler that is on until after midnight and on at 6am. Though this makes the rooms lovely and warm it is NOISY. I had to go and purchase earpulgs to get a good nights sleep.

We have been staying locally in a holiday cottage, sadly this place was closed for most of our holiday. No where else near seemed that great so when they opened back up we booked up straight away. Visited Friday around 6.30. The lady was very welcoming and chatty. She made us feel right at home and not rushed at all. We where the only table at the time but more came to join nearer 7. The food was...amazing. I am a young chef and thought this food was great, portions where great for the price and full of flavour. We all tried a bit of each other's food and the two pies where so nice, I got food envy! The meat just melted in the mouth. The puddings where great too, again we all tried each others. The chocolate parfait was so smooth and the slight Orange flavour worked well.
Again the lady serving was on her own (I think it may be family run) but we weren't rushed, nor where we left for too long. 3 people for 3 courses each and alcoholic drinks came to just over £90, so well worth it. Next time we are visiting Scotland we will stay at the hotel...just for the food!
Shame it's a bit far to visit from Kent!
