This restaurant was a pleasant surprise as regards value for money! The prices are what you would expect for an average meal, but the portions and flavour are better than that. The waiting staff are alert and vibrant, the chefs are very good, I can only see this place going from strength to strength! This place is going against the other local feed houses of miserable portions, miserable service, miserable taste! The Capercaille is the place to go in the Trossachs!

We stopped in for a spot of lunch and a drink with the dog. We were all warmly welcomed by all staff. Myrna is a cracker and we enjoyed our afternoon. My husband returned the next morning for ‘one of the best breakfasts ever!’ And was again warmly treated by the staff. We always pop in whether it’s for tea or for a drink and have always been very well cared for.

The food is good and varies snacks also available for a quick "cuppa". Can be noisy and crowded at Weekends

Came in here for a spot of lunch and was taken back by Alaya who was more than helpful. A very beautiful location which is both pleasing to the soul and mind.

A lovely restaurant pleasing with a small menu and a little on the expensive side for what you actually receive. Having said this the location is ideal with nice views of the rapids.

We popped into capercaillie for a spot of lunch on arriving in Killin and were very impressed. We enjoyed the Cullen skink with warm crusty roll which was yummy and very filling. Afterwards me had a lovely coffee with melt in the mouth homemade shortbread. Great service from very attentive staff which was exceptional value for money. We shall return x
