Friendly welcome, modern facilities (1980s purpose built hostel that has been refurbished). Clean and comfortable dorms, good showers and toilet facilities (light switch for male showers is behind first entrance door!). Good kitchen facilities and very spacious dining area. Decent sized lounge with comfy sofas. Plenty of parking space and right next to railway station. A short walk on the link path to the West Highland Way takes you to some memorable views of the surrounding mountains. Small grocery shop nearby.

Room Tip: they're all much the same

This clean and friendly hostel is located close to lots of great walking in the Highlands, including the West Highland Way and many hill walks. The railway station is very close, as is a small shop. It's better to have a car here so that you can have access to more of the area because transport, even with the railway, is fairly limited. Very easy access to Glasgow. The room and kitchen were both extremely clean.

We have just had a warm and dry!! break at this cosy and friendly hostel. And yes it had comfortable beds!! We were able to secure a family room which gave us privacy, whilst shared space leant itself to comfortably accomodate the larger group we were part of. This hostel has a 'coming home' feel which we are sure many a weary traveller would appreciate. And all within easy reach of Glasgow by train or car!!

Room Tip: Possibly the far end of the corridors would be quieter, but it is so compact it would not make much difference.

We booked this with a group of friends for Saturday night = very clean, very comfy and we would certainly go again.
We had room 8 which had a lovely big bathroom, shower etc. Lots of hot water available even though the hostel was full
Easy to find, lots of great facilities and right near the railway station if you are travelling by train
Warm bedding provided , take your own towels ( as usual with hostels

Room Tip: Being a hostel some rooms have 3 beds some more. Single beds but that was fine.
