“Great place for walks and comfortable when returning from same.”

The flat was clean and tidy and very welcoming with clear instructions from the owner. Nice views from the lounge when relaxing with a glass of wine.
Kilchattan is a lovely village with a coffee shop come post office and the walks around are very enjoyable. The weather was chilly but the heater worked wonders!
Bedroom was comfortable and flat was quite compact and had everything we needed with easy street parking outside.
The local hotel, about a mile or so away, the Kingarth served lovely food in huge proportions and we ate there a couple of times. The whole island is quite compact so easy to get around with a car.

“Absolutely fabulous!!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This is the best place ever! Swimming in the sea off the small pier every day. Fire pit on the beach watching the sun go down. Friendly locals. Great safe place for kids who played in the rock pools from dusk till dawn....house brilliant and fully equipped. Could not have asked for more! Kingarth hotel walking distance from the house serves lovely food with a very nice beer garden. Children friendly. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend it!

“Fantastic value and comfort”

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for 5 nights in April and could not have been happier with the level of comfort and furnishing offered by the property. There are stunning views from the lounge window overlooking the bay, providing an incredible vista for breakfast and a charming panorama into the evening. The cottage is very cozy and provides everything you would need in a holiday home. The bay is very quiet and the cottage also has a rear garden. There are 2 bathrooms (one en suite) and all the mod cons you could need: iPod dock in the stereo, coffee machine, TV, broadband, etc...

Overall, a lovely place to spend some time on this wonderful island and enjoy the best of the Scottish countryside.
