“relaxing time”

Will get niggles out of way first. Entrance to flat is through a security door from street. Door has seen better days and despite a notice asking for it to be securely closed we found it open a couple times. The entrance is through typical Scottish 'close' , this appears to be the original dark green tiling , the area and stairs (which are quite steep) however although dark and dingy are very clean. This cannot be said for area where bins are kept, there were several drums of dirty cooking oil obviously from the now defunct café on ground floor , old furniture and just very dirty. Two notes about flat, the windows are very large and open inwards it would be very easy to fall through so extra care needed especially with children and no curtains or blinds in both bathroom and toilet. The very good points however are on entering the flat it does not feel like a holiday home more that you have borrowed someone's home for a few days. It is very well equipped with everything you could want except a hairdryer! I had forgotten mine so no hair wash. The flat was spotlessly clean. The views are excellent , we were fortunate with good weather but if it had been not so good you could sit at window and be entertained all day. We had a much needed relaxing few days and would certainly return again. (The flat was booked through an agency, who were excellent in their quick responses to a couple queries we had)
