“Stunning House with Views to Match!”
Reviewed 6 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Fantastically located house with uninterrupted views across to the Isle of Arran. You could sit for hours just staring at the view whatever the weather! The house was beautifully furnished and decorated and provided us with a great family holiday. Plenty for the teenagers to do (TV, dart board, pool-table and bikes) and so nice to be able to walk to the pub and village shop which were just down the lane. Walks right on the doorstep and within minutes you reach the pretty beach/cove which was great for the kids and dog! Lots to do in the area, including day trips to the Isle of Arran and Gigha. Had a perfect, relaxing holiday - thank you Ruth!

“What we had hoped for and much more - beautiful house, stunning views”
Reviewed 22 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Great accommodation for staying with extended Family. Comfortably sleeps ten however this is with four sharing one room which may be problematic for some. One of the best situations in the small rural village of Carradale with easy access to the two hotels, golf course, beach and local shop. Views from the property are stunning. We were blessed with good weather for all but one day however this is the type of house you could enjoy on a dreich day. Watching the water and the changing skies over to Arran, sitting by the log burner playing monopoly or playing pool or darts made it quite a packed day. There is enough space for people to go and watch TV or have a quiet space. Thank you Ruth for letting us rent your lovely property - we hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Liked best: House and views
Liked least: Although the downstairs loo has a blind you can see through it - as it's at the main door and people were coming and going this could be a bit awkward. Also very small point but would have appreciated some seating in the bedrooms - not essential
