“Lovely cottage in great location”
Reviewed 27 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Kyle Farm Cottage which we found to be very comfortable and had all that we wanted – including the all important cafetiere! The kitchen/dining area is wonderful with full length windows for great views down to Kyleakin and across to Lochalsh. There is also a timber balcony area with table and chairs for sitting out and enjoying the views. It is nice and quiet being located at the end of a small road. We really liked the location with easy access to explore the island and also the Lochalsh area. For supplies it was only a couple of minutes to pop over the bridge to the large co-op at Kyle. We had a week of lovely walks, a couple of cycle rides, a bit of touring, and enjoyed looking out for wildlife. Just around Kyleakin we saw a two otters, deer, seals, lots of different birds and a pine martin! Many thanks to Nick and Jo for being lovely hosts and making sure we had all we wanted. We look forward to coming back soon.

“Short stay”
Reviewed 11 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Had a lovely time in Old Kyle Farm kyleakin, cottage was lovely, cosy and met all our needs. Few wee kind touches from Jo & Nik made it very welcoming, milk, shortbread and wine were lovely. Our dog enjoyed her wee biscuit treat too. Definitely recommend the cottage.

“September long weekend ”
Reviewed 22 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Booked this after a lot of research and it definitely did not disappoint. Greeted with a bottle of wine and shortbread and milk left for us in fridge. Delightful cottage, cosy and comfortable and spectacular views. 2 of us stayed but would easily take 4. Definitely recommended.

“Panoramic views and home comforts”
Reviewed 20 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Comfortable cottage with nothing lacking...spectacular views from the windows (whatever the weather). Once through the farm gate you feel there is nothing but you and the Isle although back on the other side of the gate is everything that Skye has to offer. It makes it feel very special to have that space to yourself. Had a wonderful time with lots more of Skye to explore 'another time'.
