I pinched myself every time we walked out of the gate, the location was so superb. Right on the seafront with a joy of a view out of the bedroom window. The only downside was that I found it a little damp and wished there was more in the way of radiators .. It was pretty damp weather while I was there though. There are so many bits and bobs for use in the kitchen and all around the house, most helpful!

If it is all about the location, then Toll a Balla is just perfect. Situated on the front at Tobermory it is walking distance from all amenities and an ideal spot from which to explore Mull. The cottage was beautifully clean and well presented, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and plenty of towels in the bathrooms. We even had a visit from the Tobermory Cat!! Overall we could not have asked for more.
Tobermory is the right place to stay on Mull as the village is the biggest on the island with a few restaurants and nice shops. The apartment is located in the very heart of the harbour. Anyway, it is absolutely peaceful and quiet !
There is a lovely sight from the flat onto the sea. It is very convenient for the amenities, especially after a hiking's day. The supermarket is just 2 minutes away, and the bakery not much farther.
Mull is exquisite and deserves much time to be discovered, so the whole week at the flat was never boring...
The flat was well-equipped, with three bedrooms, among which one designed for children (2 small beds). That was cute.
The place has got 2 toilets, which is also quite convenient, especially as the bedrooms are located upstairs.
The living room might be a bit dark, but the bedrooms are very pleasant and light. They are rather spacious.
So a good place to stay that can be recommanded.
This lovely wee place is tucked just of the main street and is fabulous. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the living room has a beautiful log burning fire. When we were there it was sunny so we did not need this, however, i'm sure it would be warm and cosy in the winter months. A wee gem in a lovely island, and close to the main street for the pubs and other attractions in mull and Iona. I stayed with friends and would definately go back at this time.
There were 4 adults staying here for 3 nights. Perfect location with easy parking and easy walking to a variety of restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We didn't cook any meals at the apartment as we were being "on vacation"! We were close to the boat dock for the Staffa Trennish Island tour which was excellent. Cafe Fish was our favorite and Galleon Grill and Western Isles Hotel were good for dinner. We went to the bakery each morning for breakfast and it opened at 8.
A good map of the island could be included in the "papers" of info. The beds were comfy and the living room had adequate seating for 4. Easy to find upon arrival.
