Excellent house with great facilities.
Good situation for exploring the island.
Despite the weather we had a lovely holiday as this was a really relaxing place to stay.
Would definitely recommend.

“Wow!”

We arrived late on a Saturday evening having survived, barely, a stormy crossing of the Minch. It was only five minutes or so from the ferry, which was fortunate as it was just turning dark, wet and blowing a gale, and I had to drive as my husband was incapacited with sea sickness! Even though it was now 10pm, the owners were there to meet us and introduce me to their beautiful little house. All I could was 'wow'! Wood flooring, huge windows, beautiful well-equipped kitchen which we didn't have time to enjoy fully as our stay was so short. One huge bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and rainforest type shower, and two ensuite shower rooms. Large bedrooms and really comfortable beds! Also, one double and two twins, so lots of flexibility on sleeping arrangements. And a supply of provisions to take us through the next day - incredibly thoughtful. We were only staying for 3 nights so were so grateful to find this home, and it was beyond our wildest expectations. I'm sure there will soon be no gaps in the rental calendar as word catches on.

In the daylight after our arrival, from the outside An Acail doesn't look much - but it is like a tardis inside :) Access is also through an uninspiring bit of housing estate, but it is 5 minutes into town, and five minutes out of town, and there are views from the house of the war memorial and down to the coast. We would have been happy to stay here for a couple of weeks.
