“Cosy retreat”
Reviewed 2 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Seascape Cottage was as good as it looked in their photos. We were impressed with the very high standard of cleanliness, furnishings and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Richard and Morag welcomed us warmly and showed us around. The weather was extraordinarily warm+ sunny and we even swam in the sea at Tolsta Beach!!!! At night the silence was wonderful and we slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you for a much needed break in your lovely cottage.

“Lovely cottage with great views”
Reviewed 29 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This was a great cottage to stay in for a few days on Lewis and Harris. A short drive out of Stornoway with a wonderful view back to the town and the bays, it made a good base for tours of the key parts of the islands. The cottage itself was lovely inside and very comfortable.

“A beautiful welcoming home from home on the Isle Lewis”
Reviewed 23 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Seascape Cottage is a really lovely and very special place and it's owners Richard and Morag make you feel so welcome. When you arrive at the house you can clearly see that they have put their heart, soul and a lot of thought into the internal decor; it's beautiful and comfortable and there is everything you need for your stay. The theme of the sea runs throughout and it just adds to the enjoyment, as does the ever changing view from the front of the house. It is very well positioned for travelling round the Island and even down to to Harris and when you come back in the evening after a long day out it's a real pleasure to rest in this place. While were were there, Richard made sure we were okay without infringing on our privacy, and on our last day he gave us a call to say that there were whale sightings about five miles away off Tiumpan Head. We went to meet him and we were treated to a wonderful display. Of course no-one can guarantee whales, but because he knew we were interested in the wildlife, he went that extra mile for us and we were so grateful. Thank you Richard and Morag for a wonderful and very memorable holiday, your lovely cottage and your personal hospitality will never be forgotten.

“Perfect”
Reviewed 5 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Beautiful house with shabby chic decor. Well equipped and a real home from home.
Perfect location for a relaxing holiday with beautiful views across the peninsula.
Our springer Rory absolutely loves the garden and will be sad to leave.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Isles.

“There are holiday cottages and there are Holiday Cottages...”
Reviewed 29 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Looking for a base for a short break in the Outer Hebradies and due to the weather camping was not an option so decided to book a pet friendly cottage.

My past experience of cottages has been mixed. They include cottages which require a good clean on arrival or where the furniture was really worn and tatty. Other past experience has included having to wash everything in the kitchen or finding the fridge full of mould or the oven greasy. Seascape Cottage in none of these.

It was spotless, well equipped and well appointed. In easy reach of Stornaway and the ferry terminal. Good views, cosy and a secure garden. Owners helpful and friendly. Also we arrived to find milk in the fridge and cleaning materials on hand.

What more can you ask fo.
