We arrived on Sept. 29th 2011 and stayed for 4 nights. Kate and David are all you can ask for as host's. The view of the Loch is wonderful. The breakfast and the dinners are fantastic. David is a great cook! One of our favorite parts of the stay was just sitting by the fire at night with Kate and David and the other quests and having a drink and talking. Lots of fun.

Nice clean and quiet rooms. Good internet connection. All you can ask for.

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome, Kate and David went out of their way to be helpful. The room had a lovely view of the Loch. We had the evening meal option and the food was superb, plenty of choice and very well cooked. The wine list was also very good although we did drink them dry of Rose wine. Breakfast was alos very well presented with plenty of choice. The location is very good with plenty of good walks all around plus the Foyers Falls on the doorstep.

If you're looking for a little seclusion and natural beauty, Foyers is a wonderful place to stay. There are actually 2 B&Bs named Foyers, so we were a little lost upon arrival. Kate and David were very welcoming and accomodating. The room was quaint and clean and the house was older, well kept, and very charming. We had a great walk at night. There are trails leading to waterfalls right on the property and it was still light at 10 pm. We returned and spent some time by the fire in the living room with our hosts and their dogs. Breakfast was cooked by David's daughter and was traditional English, and delicious. I'd definitely stay again.

After two dreadful nights at a large country hotel, my girlfriend and I couldn't face a third, and checked out early. With a friend in tow we decided to try our luck to the south of Loch Ness.

After a couple of false starts, we stumbled across the Foyers Bay Country House Hotel, and despite being a Sunday evening Kate and David welcomed us warmly and bent over backwards to accommodate their surprise guests.

Their dinner was excellent, and we were able to spend a perfectly relaxing evening in the hotel's lounge, enjoying whiskies, conversation, and games. Our checkout the following morning was preceded by a superbly cooked breakfast.

If you're into big faceless hotels, then this isn't the place for you. But if you like the personal touch, and a home from home, then it doesn't get much better than this. Superbly situated, with beautiful views of the Loch, Kate and David's hotel offers well priced rooms, and a secluded spot to quietly enjoy an unspoiled corner of Scotland.

We'll be back, and have already told many friends about this gem of a find!

a generousvery room with a terrific view, very comfortable amenities PLUS a loung room with a fire - what more could one ask - except for the warmth and hospitality of dave and kate. dave's meals have a home- cooked warmth while kate's desserts (ask for kate's crabnachan pudding) are a delight.. rooms were practical and comfortable. great to have a couch in the room to look through the panoramic windows, a table and chair to work on, good number and size of drawers for clothes and plenty of hanging space. the walks nearby to foyers falls are a delight (remeber to buy the anti-mdige liquid from the shop at upper foyers!!). we'll be back
