“Perfect Highland retreat”

Friendly welcome and lots of tips of worthwhile days out. Apartment is specious, clean and feels very homely. Quick walk into Fort Augustus town centre with a couple of nice pubs. All in all - perfect

“Peaceful New Year”
Reviewed 5 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Great time at the Old Convent, in perfect location for Western Highlands, Inverness and Skye. The accommodation is as good as it looks - plenty of space, a super kitchen and lots of games and movies to watch if you decide to stay in. We had a peaceful New Year with day trips out to Skye and around Loch Ness. Would definitely stay again, thanks to Felicity for a lovely stay.

“Stunning apartment, very cosy and spacious.”
Reviewed 4 December 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Amazing little place to stay, great for exploring Loch Ness and climbing Ben Nevis. Friendly couple who own it are only too happy to help and even sent us a pre-warning and an alternate way of getting there when the road into Fort Augustus was cut off by a landslide!

“The Great Escape”
Reviewed 25 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

l have just returned from Fort Augustus where l spent 3 lovely nights at the Old Convent.
This spacious apartment was just as it said on the tin ! l enjoyed peace and quiet in a lovely old Convent steeped in history, a short walk from the hub of this beautiful village boasting locks on the Caledonian Canal where it joins Loch Ness. Unsure of what to do Felicity who greeted me as if we were old friends spent a lot of time telling me about the area and how to see and make the best of it. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could think of, and my favourite bit was the bathroom ..a lovely spacious bath with loads of hot water and an excellent shower with great pressure ! Felicity pointed out the fact that they are working on more apartments within the Convent ...l have already booked my next visit with them and am looking forward to seeing what they have done. l think l have found my second home. Thank you Felicity.

“Impossible to fault!”
Reviewed 15 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We stayed for 5 nights as our first holiday together. We could not have wished for a better place. To say it is a holiday apartment is unfair, it is much more a home from home....comfortable, warm, spacious and superbly restored. The kitchen has every utensil you could wish for, the living room nicely laid out with a lovely view, bathroom lovely and spotlessly clean, and the bedroom is stunning. All just exactly as the photos suggest. Felicity and Chris are extremely nice and could not be more helpful. They added a couple of personal touches for us that added greatly to our experience and even got up early on our departure day to say goodbye and wish us a safe journey. 10 out of 10 in every way!
