“First class accommodation in the beautiful village of St Fillans. Highly recommended!”
Reviewed 11 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Craigdarroch Cottage has been modernised to a very high standard and situated in the beautiful village of St Fillans. The cottage is very homely with a large extremely comfortable bed. Lovely walks directly from the cottage for us and our dogs, friendly village with a beautiful dog friendly hotel nearby. Many extras are provided within the cottage for your stay. Only downside was the TV reception within the cottage and the local village store which we found to be a bit sparse when it came to provisions. Looking forward to another visit in the not to distant future.

“Lovely holiday let with lots of character”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Really exceptional renovation of an old cottage. Excellent use of space to give an open plan arrangement that really worked. Shower room good with enough space but a bit snug. Bedroom again a bit tight but a lovely big comfy bed and for a holiday that's all you need. Very close to Loch Earn and views from the roof-light window down the loch were good. Plenty of space in the living room area for our large dog to sleep comfortably and thoughtful touches included a bottle of bubbly for us and a bed, towels and biscuits for the dog! We had our own dog things but it was very thoughtful. St Fillans is very quiet but easy distance to lots of great walks and places of interest.

“Perfect space and location for a couple”
Reviewed 5 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Had a fantastic 10 days, cottage is great for a couple with plenty of space to relax. Lock Earn is a pretty little lock and is a three minute walk away. Locally walking and cycling is good and the mountains are all around you. We were blessed with fantastic weather which made our first holiday in Scotland absolutely perfect.

“Great cottage with lovely views”
Reviewed 22 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

This is a really lovely cottage that has been renovated beautifully, it was very clean and really comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. There are lovely views over the loch and lots of great walks from the cottage, we saw lots of wildlife including osprey, goldeneye, red deer fallow deer and lots more.
We took our two dogs and they were made very welcome with dog bed, dish & treats as well as a lovely bottle of prosecco for us.

“Very nice apartment at Loch Earn”
Reviewed 28 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The apartment fits best for two persons. It's renovated and everything looks really good. We experienced some cold days and it was not possible to permanently turn on the heating.
It's controlled remotely by the owner of the apartment and you have a "boost" button (heating is on for 1.25 hours) or you have to light a fire at the fireplace. After mailing to the owner she
turned on the heating for another two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening.

Management Response
4 May 2016
Hubert, thank you very much for your review. The heating system was selected to be as environmentally friendly as possible which enables me to remotely provide heating for the weeks when I have guests and during cold winter months while at the same time affording guests control of heating while in the cottage. Kind regards Ailsa
