We all agreed it was probably one of the best meals we have ever had. 5* food at restaurant-chain money. A hidden jewel of a place and we can't wait to come back.

“Thyme” is a lovely restaurant. It is very attractive and tastefully furnished. The staff are attentive and cheery and were there to help us with recommendations of both food and wine. The food was really delicious and anything could be recommended. All special dietary requirements are accommodated without issue. Would happily eat there again.

The mean choices were varied and allowed me to taste dishes associated with foreign cultures. Each of the dishes was presented with flair - and were delicious. The sorbet was unexpected. The atmosphere is candlelit - and the reception area is welcoming - the perfect place for a before and after dinner drink.

Having dinner here satisfies the palate like no other restaurant in Scotland can. Without a doubt one of the best, if not the best meals I have enjoyed in my life

The menue offers trips to countries all over the world, but local goodies can be found as well, like venison or meat from rare breeds.
Startes and desserts complete the offer.
Many different cockatails, wines and other drinks are available, you seldom see such a variety in smaller restaurants.
Conclusion: you don't want to miss it when you're in the area! A definite must go (and taste)!
