“Luxury Retreat That Excels In Every Way”

A modern luxury lodge with picturesque views of the lighthouse only a few steps from a golden sand beach.

The accommodation is a league ahead of what you expect to find on holiday parks. Its very spacious and beautifully equipped. It is of a very high standard the light floods in to the lodge on all sides it is very bright and airy. It has high ceilings and should not be confused with that caravan feel. No echo under foot just a plush carpet nice couches and soft furnishings Led effect electric fire its warm and well insulated with double glazing and gas central heating. The lounge and kitchen areas furnished to a high standard with a lovely open plan feel where you can prepare in the kitchen but still hold a conversation. A proper dining table area also

The kitchen has a gas hob built in electric oven and microwave integrated dishwasher, full sized washing machine, fridge freezer and wine cooler and more than adequate crockery

Both bedrooms are very proportioned .... The master bedroom very comfortable complete with ipod dock and portable tv with en suite generous sized bathroom with bath and shower over bath. A generous walk in wardrobe with more than adequate storage
The twin room has 2 proper single beds and more than adequate storage also nicely furnished.

The main bathroom has a large shower cubicle and again is generous in proportion.

The towels and bedding are included and are of good quality and you can see no expense has been spared in maintaining a high standard.

There was lots of nice touches complimentary toiletries tea and coffee and condiments The owner obviously has built up a lot of trust as there are Dvd's and games and lots of little touches that go over and above. I hope guests respect this for everyone else's enjoyment also.

It is surrounded by a good sized decking area with BBQ a picnic table and Rattan furniture.

There is someone on site to help let you in and is there should you have any issues during your stay though I would say this was unlikely but a pleasure to meet Tommy.

The booking and communication was very good

I will return again one day the only negative in my review is it may become so popular getting a date may become difficult but I have to share as I find.

“Spotless”

A very spacious and spotlessly clean lodge . Little extras were a bonus, biscuits, jam , milk etc were a lovely touch. We loved the patio areas with quality garden furniture and BBQ. So close to the sea with a fantastic beach and the super town of Lossiemouth just a couple of miles away, a perfect getaway with friends or for holidaying with children. Lots to do locally.

“Nice spacious lodge”

Pros
Spacious & well appointed. Fully equipped. Excellent decking area. Location, literally 30secs to beach. Warm, cosy lodge with good heating & water. Great bathrooms.

Cons
Master bed unsleepable, basically sleeping on metal spring, (singles not much better.) had to wash all cutlery & crockery before use. Kettle was needing replaced but hadn't been. Slightly isolated as in no great walking routes to town. Lack of phone coverage & no wifi.

A couple of minor changes would make me highly recommend this lodge & return. Also helpful would have been some guidance or advice on tides to enable safe confident walking.

Management Response
22 Sep 2015
Many thanks for your review. My apologies for the damage to the kettle and yes it should not have been left however it was discovered like that when cleaner arrived to do a same day changeover for your arrival and time did not allow to go and get a replacement. I didn't think it warranted disturbing your stay so was just replaced on next changeover, with hindsight I could have taken it through next day. I have noted your comments with regard to the mattress, it is not something that has been mentioned before but I will monitor in case it is something that needs to be changed. Thanks again, Nicky
