“Weekend Visit”
Reviewed 3 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had a lovely weekend in Lossiemouth when we stayed at Seatown. Its a quaint fishermans cottage, cosy and warm with all the facilities you require. We love the seaside references everywhere reminds us of Devon.

Wendy is always a great host as we have stayed at her B&B in Elgin a few times.

We would happily stay here again with a few steps to the 7 mile long beach and coastal path with many eating out places close by.

Recommend anyone to stay here.

“Great location and lovely renovated cottage”
Reviewed 26 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

From the minute you book you are made to feel welcome by the owner Wendy. A lovely food parcel on arrival and the quality of the renovation is to a high standard. The cottage is right in the middle of the town with easy access to the local amenities. You need to walk through another garden to get to the cottage (not a problem) and I just want to say what lovely people live there. The view is of the garden wall but that wasn't a problem for us as we were out all the time and you only have to walk a short distance to see beautiful Lossie beach.
My husband is 6' so he did have to remember to duck when he walked through the cottage and the only other thing I would say is 'take your slippers' because I found walking around without slippers cold. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would recommend this property.

“Cosy, comfortable, clean and convenient”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This ground floor flat is very convenient for the west beach. The location is ideal for discovering Lossiemouth. Parking at the back of the property was easy. When we opened the door there was a lovely clean fresh smell and the furnishings were comfortable. Overall, this was a very cosy flat. Although it did not bother us, the ceilings are low and may be problematic for those over 5 ft 8 in.
The owner is very generous in leaving a starter pack. There were also ample replacement sundries, such as kitchen towels etc. Lots of mugs were a great help and allowed you to enjoy the garden without washing up.
The lack of Wi-Fi is a concern which we resolved by frequent visits to Costa Coffee in Elgin.

Thank you for your review, I would like to point out that the ceiling heights are 6ft 7" and door heights 5ft 8". This is indicative of the local Seatown Cottages in the area. Holiday Makers often come to this area to specifically stay in these cottages due to their charm and quaintness.

Apologies for the WiFi or should I say lack of it, I didn't fully understand the importance of this to people. I have now ordered it and it should be installed late August early September.

Regards,
Wendy.

“Great cottage, with immediate access to the centre of Lossiemouth”

Very well appointed cottage with a nice wee garden outside to enjoy the sun. The west beach front is on its doorstep as with all the facilities on the main street. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly - doing her best to ensure a perfect stay.

Highly reccomended.

Only minor comment - phone signal is poor, so wifi would have been a big plus!
