My husband and I had never visited Mayfield until yesterday. A light lunch in very pleasant surroundings, great views of autumn colour. We had a burger and a croque mousieur both lovely. (Best burger in Fife according to husband). Black coffee was good, not a massive selection of soft drinks. We will definitely be back. Toilets very clean.

Booked at table for lunch after a recommendation from a friend and found this lovely tearoom to be all that was promised. Very attentive staff quickly had us seated at our table with beautiful views across the countryside. The options on the menu appear to cover all tastes and the lunch special was worth noting. All of our food was freshly prepared and extremely tasty. Parting note has to mention the CAKES......too many to choose from which ensures a return visit. Great find, good parking and a covered outside area for those who my have their four legged friends in tow.

This lovely place is just outside Cupar where we live. Our first visit today and we will be back! Delicious soup and home made bread. My husband’s Croque Monsieur was excellent too - he even ate all the salad! Well done all.

This was my second visit after a good visit and tasty soup the first time thought we would treat mum and dad for afternoon tea. Sorry it was disappointing only three small finger sandwichs each tuna\ham\ cheese no egg mayanonnise no cream cheese or smoked salmon. There was a variety of mini cakes etc. No extra tea offered had to ask for hot water.asked twice for two extra plates for young children after a reply it's only booked for five ! We just wanted two plates for the children to have cake .plates arrived no serviettes.
Possibly would give it another try but not for afternoon tea felt it wasn't good valve for money - disappointed
