“A Home From Home”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My husband, my two and a half year old son, and myself have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at Casa Giselle. We truly felt so at home in this fantastic house. Everything in the property was of a very high standard from kitchen appliances to the beds. We loved the beautiful open fire in the evenings and the enclosed garden meant we didn't have to worry about our son. The house also has a great lay out and loads of space. Crail itself is quiet and peaceful. The harbour area and beach are especially beautiful especially early in the morning or late in the evening. We found lots of lovely places for lunch in East Neuk villages and the amazing Ardross Farm Shop is well worth a visit. We anticipate East Neuk and Casa Gisella having return visits from us. A really super holiday.

Reviewed 9 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We stayed for a week in June, house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Warm and easy to heat, good shower, well equipped kitchen.
Would highly recommend a trip to the Isle of May.

This holiday house retains a lot of character internally but is also very comfortable and very well equipped - its also nice to see that all the equipment (toaster etc) are good quality. There is a great little garden at the back which my 4 and 7 year old really enjoyed and an excellent selection of books and dvds. Crail is a fantastic holiday location - the town has great local shops - butcher, green grocer, baker and pubs/cafes as well as the opportunity to eat freshly cooked lobster down at the harbour. Everyone in the town is really friendly and this cotttage provides the perfect location from which to explore.

“Comfortable spacious cottage for family gathering.”
Reviewed 4 January 2014 for a stay in December 2013

We had a wonderful short break here just after Christmas. The cottage was comfortable, warm and had everything you could need. Even a small garden with children's slide/climbing frame and outdoor toilet which I imagine would be fantastic in the summer. The kitchen/dining area was large enough to accommodate us all (5 adullts, one toddler, one baby and one dog) easily. The lounge is also big, though you'll need to squish up on the sofas or have some people on the floor (not a problem really as the rug was clearly new!) Lots of DVDs, books and some board games, plus wifi if the weather is bad, but if the weather is good the cottage is very close to the coast (beaches and coastal walk) and the centre of the village is a short stroll away. Parking is easy and there's plenty to explore in the rest of Fife too.
