“Excellent very comfortable stay in a charming cottage”
Reviewed 11 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Garden Cottage was a delight to stay, warm, very comfortable beds and lots of room. We enjoyed the bottle of wine that was left for us along with a few other bits and pieces. Lovely touch having a dog bed. Crail is a charming little place. The beach walk is beautiful and the local hostelries served us well. We would definitely go back.

“all round fantastic place to stay”
Reviewed 11 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Garden cottage really does what it says on the box and more. It is spacious, beautifully done out, safe for small children and in a fantastic location. Even with an 18month old and a three year old in tow it is a five minute walk to the shops and the beach. We rarely left the village as it had everything we needed. Check out the lobster shack, the healthfood shop, the baker ( for their amazing corn bread and Apple pie), and the butcher. Oh, and of course the local fish and chip shop. The beach at kingsbarns, cambo house gardens and cambo distillery are all a 10 minute drive away and well worth visiting. We are hoping to come back next year. Definitely the best holiday house we have stayed in.

“Best Cottage so far!”
Reviewed 28 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Since getting our dog we have done lots of cottage holidays in the UK and I can honestly say that this was the best to date. The cottage itself is well furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need - and more!

All the rooms are spacious - and whilst we were only a small party there would be plenty of room for a large group without everyone tripping over each other. The garden was delightful - it was a shame that the weather prevented us from sitting out in it more often.

“Best place to stay in Crail, Fife!”

My daughter married a Glaswegian at the Crail Community Hall. We stayed for four days at the Garden Cottage - myself and my husband, three bridesmaids and a friend of the bride, plus the bride the night before her wedding, AND the bride and the groom the night of the day after the wedding. We also hosted a brunch the day after the wedding, attended by 40-50 guests.
The Cottage is spacious, the kitchen has all the amenities you could possibly want, the bathrooms are both a nice size with great water pressure (didn't find that in all the places I stayed while in Scotland!), the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds.
In short, we all LOVED this place! I'd love to visit again in the summer.

“Relaxation central in sumptuous surroundings”

A simply fabulous, beautifully appointed and equipped family friendly living space in the quiet village of Crail. 6 of us had a truly relaxing weekend in the superb surroundings of this beautiful cottage. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, the owners have thought of everything you'll need to chill out and it's a great location to explore this stunning part of Scotland, thank you so much.
