“Great little cottage situated in a lovely picturesque fishing village”

We arrived after at Pebbles Cottage a grueling 7 hour drive up to Anstruther, both of us in desperate need of freshening up and some food! We decided to explore the cottage first though. the place has been decorated very nicely with ample space in all 3 bedrooms and great little touches here and there, such as the amazing shower facility in the first floor bathroom. Later on in the evening we had a walk into the town itself to stretch our legs and get a bite to eat. We settled on a local fish restaurant and as soon as the food arrived we knew that that right decision was made, the seafood was excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to give a review, if you manage to visit again, some of the supermarkets do on line delivery to the area, that you may wish to consider using, however if you are hungry not much competes with fish and chips!!

“Modern Home in a Superb Sun Spot”

Pebble Cottage in Cellardyke was fantastic. The house is beautiful, with all modern amenities. The garden has a sun spot for outside eating and a sun house at the top of the garden with a brilliant view and blankets and seats to enjoy it no matter the weather. Catherine was very helpful before our stay providing lots of great ideas for activities and restaurants. The house was clean, cosy and secure. It's a beatiful area to explore, i would highly reccommend it.

Wonderful cottage in a great location for Anstruther and exploring the East Neuk of Fife. Catherine was a great host. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the cottage has everything you would need. The garden has wonderful views of the sea and Isle of May. Highly recommend this cottage and will be coming back!

“Lovely cottage - amazing view”
Reviewed 16 April 2016 for a stay in October 2015

We stayed in the cottage with our 2 young children. There was a lovely welcome package on arrival together with buckets and spades for the children - a nice touch. The cottage was clean and there were also books and board games for entertainment if desired.

If you're willing to climb a lot of steps there is a cute summer house with great views of the sea at the top of the garden. We were there in October so it was a bit cold for hanging out there but I'm sure it would be lovely in the summer.

“Amazing cottage, can't wait to return.”

We stayed at the cottage for two nights in October 2015 with a group of friends and we absolutely loved it! We can't wait to return! The cottage is in a lovely location and is decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, no need to take anything. Lots of games were available in the living area which was very fun. There's no TV but we really didn't miss it at all, old fashioned board games!

The views at the top of the garden are lovely!

Thank you Antonia for your review, we hope to welcome you back soon, we deliberately decided not to put a TV in the Living area to avoid the habit of switching on the TV every evening and to encourage other social activities with our children whilst on holiday, however like most we couldn't survive without the TV and thus reason why there is one in every bedroom!
