This beautiful guest house was recommended by a friend and I'm glad she did. Fantastic host & hostess excellent service at breakfast and dinner was super. Very comfortable and well decorated room and spa bath definitely a hit. Lots of little touches made our stay so comfortable. Unusual to find a guest lounge which is tastefully decorated and a well stocked honesty bar nice touch. Lots to see and do in the area and superb for golfers. will definitely go back. Thank you Ken & Christine.

Room Tip: Front facing with good views but all rooms very good.

This is a real gem. Ken and Christine are excellent hosts. The home cooking is exceptional hand the porridge with bananas and maple syrup at breakfast is worth dying for. I can not praise the Spindrift enough. Ken even organises the golf and weather!

Guest house staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were a good size, bed was very comfortable. There were lots of little extras which made you feel at home. The ensuite was lovely however the shower pressure was poor, but not off putting (just took longer to wash the shampoo out) Breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed two nights in October in top floor (Captain's Room) - very characterful and well equipped. Evening meal and breakfast both good and owners and staff very friendly and professional. Honesty Bar a good idea. Guest House is on fringes of Anstruther but it is not exactly a massive place so gentle 5-10 minute stroll to the centre. Anstruther (and rest of East Neuk) is a very charming and gentle corner of Scotland. The town has many bars and restaurants to choose from and a great "fishing village" atmosphere. Neighbouring towns of Elie, St. Monan's, Oittenweem and Crail all slightly different in their own ways and worth visiting , ideally by walking along the Fife Coastal Path. St. Andrew's also just a short drive away and a unique, bustling student, golf and beach town.

Room Tip: Captain's Room relatively small but full of unique character and the en-suite is spacious.
