Thanks for the review. I’m not sure what to say. You said lovely food and good quality meat but seem to think we should open earlier. We open 7 days a week with late opening Wed - Sun and do a roaring breakfast trade. Not sure there’s too much call for earlier breakfasts in Comber to be fair.

Glad you enjoyed your visit and hopefully you’ll return soon and give us a few more stars on your next visit.

Excellent Easter lunch on a very wet miserable day. Staff very helpful welcoming and friendly. We all found it difficult to know what to order as there was such an amazing menu. After long deliberation I ordered chowder which was to die for completely full of a variety of fish. Also linguine; peanut chilli chicken and panini were ordered we all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered and agreed we have to return to try other things on the menu. Can't wait.

We had a celebratory family brunch this morning. We were made to feel very welcome and were treated like royalty. The service was excellent and friendly and nothing was a bother despite having two very fussy vegetarians in the group. Any requests were cheerfully and obligingly carried out. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and beautifully cooked. Yum, yum.

Another review on back of an evening trying out the new pizza menu. Always a bit worried when a bistro says they can do a pizza menu as its just not as easy as it sounds. Well shouldnt have worried as manager was able to tell us it is made in a proper pizza oven with fresh ingredients. After a nice starter of crab crostini the pizzas arrived and I have to say they were both excellent quality with good toppings and a grea crust, which is what i measure a good pizza on. Comber is realy lucky to have this place and they seem to get better every time we visit.

We stayed in an Air BnB about 30mins outside of Belfast. We wanted a hearty Irish breakfast before driving up to see Giant’s Causeway. We googled ‘breakfast near us’ and Sugarcane Cafe bistro popped up... what a find!! And on a Sunday morning.
Gorgeous food, friendly service, speciality teas and pastries, buzzing atmosphere and all reasonably priced! An absolute treat!
