What character this place has. 4 poster beds, pannelled ceiling and creaky floor boards! Toasty and warm in the bar, superb dining in the restaurant. Albeit had it not been raining both days my wife and I would have around the park on foot. Due to the rain we had a nosey in the car. Well worth a visit!

Visited here today. Very busy but got a table quite quickly. Food very tasty. Had chicken burger and my partner had chilli chicken. Staff very friendly and polite. Desserts were a little disappointing as they were quite small. Having said that again they were delicious. Lovely atmosphere.

The Old Inn is excellent for a meal. Have been here quite a few times and the food and service was first class. The only thing I will say is it could do with a little refurbishment. The carpet and paint on the Windows was looking a little tired.

As a regular visit to Belfast City hotels we thought we’d venture outside of the city for this visit. Having researched the Old Inn we were encouraged by a whole host of awards so expectations were high.

A generously warm arrival with roaring fires at reception set off an individual and quality first impression.

The character of the ground floor areas are extremely comfortable and bursting with historic bijouterie and a timeless sense of easy living.

Dinner was exquisite. Bags of innovation for foodies, as well as staples such as a luxury prawn cocktail. We tried pigeon breast with puy lentils and we loved a slow braised beef dish with champ.

Staff are great. We were looked after generously by ‘Paul’ and ‘Tara’ who provided a level of service that made us feel like regulars. Very memorable.

The cooked Ulster fry breakfast provided a substantial and positive final exclamation mark to punctuate our brief visit.

Will definitely be back.

This is a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to the city if you like to shop.
We had a lovely time relaxing in the bar in the evening and enjoyed diner on one evening of our 2 day stay.
The food is very good pub grub with plenty of choice to suit most budgets and breakfast is huge and well cooked.
