We stayed here as a party made up of family and friends for a special birthday, 13 of us for some of the time. It was ideal - a beautiful house, with lots of character, loads of room and the dining room accommodated everyone comfortably which was good.
It has a nice size garden and again plenty of seating and the hot tub was lovely. There was enough room for all our cars too.
It's so close to the town and yet it didn't feel like it was. We could walk to get food shopping etc. at the Co-op or Waitrose and there were some nice shops to browse in. It's not too far to get to the coast and we hired kayaks locally on the river which I would recommend.
Would love to visit again.
