“We Spent a fantastic Christmas at Breach House”

Breach House was a superb location for a combined Christmas and 70th birthday celebration for our family of 8 adults and 2 young children. The house is very spacious and well equipped. There are ample bathroom facilities and the bedrooms are all large and comfortable. Despite its size the house is warm and cosy. We were hoping to light the wood burning stove but the weather was so mild we didn't need to even though plenty of logs were provided. The kitchen proved ideal for cooking the Christmas dinner and other meals, enjoyed round the large dining table which comfortably seats 10. Though the weather was very blustery it did not stop us from enjoying the walks along the beach and coastal paths. The garden in the summer would be an added bonus.
Everyone really enjoyed the stay and the children loved everything about the house and surroundings.

We went away with a group of 10 friends. The house was great, clean spacious with lovely rooms. Also the location was absolutely perfect with lovely walks, a nice pub down the road and minutes from the beach x

“Wonderful stay in Lulworth”

We couldn't decide whether we were luckiest about the summer weather in October or the beautiful house we were staying in. The house was warm, well equipped and very comfortable for a large group. Despite being late in the year we even got to enjoy the lovely garden. We would definitely stay again.

“Beryl's Birthday Bash”

What a wonderful house and so spacious that 8 adults and 4 children from 7 to 15 didn't get on top of each other at all. Everything was clean and as in the pictures. Each of the 3 families took it in turn to cook and the fourth provided nibbles. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate the family doing the cooking as well as others drifting in for snacks and things. The freezer compartment in one of the fridges was large enough for ice cream but not a lot else.
Wifi worked well.
We were lucky with the weather and after overnight rain on Friday we had good sunshine and managed walks both east and west (pretty energetic) and beach/rock pools. In fact we never drove anywhere for 3 days.
We even had lunch outside on Sunday on the patio wrought iron table with red sun canopy. All in all, a most enjoyable visit and ideal for a 70th birthday family long weekend.

“Very successful venue for a family gathering”
Reviewed 8 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We took the house for a family get together (grandparents, children and grandchildren). The accommodation was just what we wanted with adequate room for everyone to eat and sleep and sit, inside and out with an excellently equipped kitchen, a huge sitting/dining room and a garden full of places for children (and adults) to hide away. Lulworth Cove is a couple of minutes walk away with places to eat, buy ice creams, take a boat trip or just enjoy the coast. Do explore the spectacular coast path to the East by climbing up to it through the garden back gate. You will have it almost to yourselves as you watch hundreds of others across the valley toiling westwards on the Durdle Door path. Check if the Range walks are open and walk one if you can. They're very good. Go West to see Durdle Door in the evening when everyone else has gone home! We would certainly recommend Breach House and there is family talk of going again. Wifi worked for us and the O2 phone was fine - other networks were not always so reliable.
