“Romantic weekend”
Reviewed 25 August 2015 for a stay in February 2015

What an amazing stay we had. Booked for my hubby's birthday on Valentine's day. Beautifully restored and looked after. ( it was once owned by Billie Whitelaw) Although it was very cold out side the log burner was fantastic. It was all we could have hoped for and more.
We booked afternoon tea which was served in another beautifully restored carriage, we will definately visit again

“Unique - a very special experience!!!”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This is everything as described and so much more! The coach has been beautifully restored, has every amenity you will need, is very snug and was an absolute joy to stay in. The only down side for us was that, unusually for April, it was too warm to light the stove!
Marion was very welcoming and a mine of local information, her scones are superb.
Do take the opportunity to view the restored Dining Carriage if you can, amazing is an inadequate word to describe it!
The location is stunning with lovely views and sunsets and good walks. The pub in the next village provides good food at vey reasonable prices. There is a National Trust beach at Burton Bradstock which is dog friendly with free parking for members.
What more could you ask for? Can't wait to visit again!

“A gem nestled in rolling hills. A unique and treasured experience.”
Reviewed 11 June 2015 for a stay in September 2014

High Cross Camping Coaches has a special place in my heart. I spent three glorious days there with friends last summer and it is an experience I will never forget. Everything about it was magical; the location and surrounding scenery, our charming hosts, the coaches themselves which have been stylishly and beautifully restored to perfection. All the thoughtful little touches were very much appreciated by myself and my friends.
The Jurassic Coast is a short drive away which, in itself, is enough of a reason to stay at HCCC.
Even the local pub has fantastic food!
I can't say enough wonderful things. In case it isn't clear already, I highly recommend.
The only problem was that it was actually difficult to leave after only three days. Now that I've seen firsthand how amazing this place is, I will stay longer next time.

“Complete comfort and warmest of warm welcomes in quiet seclusion.”
Reviewed 11 June 2015 for a stay in November 2014

Marion and Charles have made a delightful, unusual, secluded treasure of a luxury camping coach by faithfully restoring a former railway carriage. We were looking for something different for my wife's birthday weekend and this struck just the right note.We walked extensively in the local area and although the weather was wet and windy we knew we could return to a hot shower and cosy warmth from the fine antique stove. Marion and Charles gave us a very warm welcome and then gave us space to have the place to ourselves. This was a thoroughly enjoyable two-night stay.
