“Faultless hospitality”

Nothing is too much trouble for the charming hosts at this interesting bed and breakfast. (Including cheerfully letting us in when we locked ourselves out.....twice). As we booked both rooms and the property is self contained, the effect was similar to having a holiday cottage at ones disposal.
All is spic and span, the beds are comfortable and the water hot. Jo comes by with cake at tea time and Jasper rustles up an excellent breakfast with astonishing efficiency, all the while maintaining an informed commentary on places to visit and the best way to get there.
It is a fair way off the beaten track and the last half mile is just a track! The plus side is the absolute peace and quiet. No TV but plenty of reading material.
We loved it and would very much like to go back, ideally for a walking holiday.
