On holiday in devon decided to visit, what a delightful place this is, we had homemade pasty, absolutely delicious, staff are really friendly and happy ( don't understand some of the reviews so unfair to lovely staff). Sat for few hours chatting to Philip while he was hanging flower baskets, very friendly chap seemed he had all the time in the world for us. Definitely be back next time we're in devon.well done to all involved keep up good work and ignore negative comments, absolutely not true.

We called in for afternoon tea on Friday 28th July 2017. Fantastic quirky location. Tea was a bit weak and at £2 per person seemed a bit overpriced. Asked if sweeteners were available but they were not so had to have sugar.

popped in for a snack and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely friendly Devonshire welcome smile, courteous service and most of all a pint and pasty. well done. you wouldn't expect chips and sarnie's and you wont get them . you will experience a pasty with a smile, or a cup of real tea.
recommend the lamb one but locally made and delicious. If you need to walk off the calories there are over 10 miles to experience, or take the horse drawn barge as an easy option. interesting.

Lovely canal boat converted into a coffee shop.
You could get Cornish pasties and other pastries.
We sat outside and had a lovely cup of coffee.
