Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2017. Simonsbath is quite remote so don't expect bustling village centres with oodles of shopping - but that's the point of this wonderful location. Peace and quiet, great walks including a walk to Cow Castle mound along the banks of the lovely Barle river. Worth the climb up to the top.
The Cottage is superb. Clean, modern and tastefully presented with all mod cons. Two decent double bedrooms and a kitchen/diner/lounge with a part vaulted ceiling. Warm, comfortable, good water pressure, instant hot water, great shower, comfy firm 6' beds and our two dogs could chill out in the entrance hall drying off before coming in.
The pub/hotel next door is friendly and we met the owners and enjoyed a pint of local ale. Planning to return hopefully Sept/Oct.

We stayed in the cottage for a week. This is an excellent cottage with all the amenities. It was clean and well presented. The open plan lounge had two sofas and television with the kitchen table and kitchen adjacent. It was very self contained. It had everything you needed. The bathroom was brilliant and had a bath with an overhead shower. Now the shower is brilliant - could have stayed under it for hours! The two large bedrooms are very clean and very comfortable. The cottage whilst adjacent to the owners hotel is quite and peaceful. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend it.
