Cannot express how pleased we were to find this place !! It was my fist experience of a B&B and our hosts Chris & Jane Galloway got this spot on !! Wifi access is very good , so is the breakfast ample choice even if you don't want a cooked brekki . It is located in a lovely part of the bay & has a lot of rock pools to explore with the children , we could see the beach from our bedroom window & there is a chill out area if you want a quiet read & a t.v. area with comfy chairs to sit and have a brew & complimentary biscuits!! Great for walks as it has the Exmoor National Park as it's back drop !!! Magical Place and so worth the visit . we watched the most beautiful sunset here and cannot wait to return & explore more of it !!! We did find the bakehouse Jane on our way out for those rather tasty traditional pasty's thank you!!
Go On book the trip and enjoy this beautiful part of the country !!!

Booked for 3 nights for a coastal walk and to meet up with family camping near by.
As soon as we had booked, received email asking if there was any dietary requirements
On arrival met by Jane who showed us round and let us know what was on in the area.
We had room 2, what a view to wake up too :-). For breakfast you have a good selection. Location was perfect for us, Hospitality was excellent. Will book again

Stayed for a night en route to St Ives and had lovely stay. Great beach a couple of minutes walk away and only a short drive (15 mins) to dramatic beach at Woolacombe. Jane and Chris were perfect hosts and great with our kids and were happy for us to check in at noon so we could arrive early and enjoy the beach after only. a four hour drive from South London. Bedrooms were clean, fresh and airy and the the Lodge had a real fresh feel of the seaside to it. Interior was really well decorated. Breakfast room and breakfast really great. Perfect for either stopover or a base for longer stay in a beautiful part of Devon.

“Very accommodating, great location ”
Reviewed 9 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

My partner and 10 week old stayed here for one night. As soon as we booked online we received a personal email from the owners asking if we had any special requirements, which we did, a cot and early room availability. The owners were more than accomadating and the service was great. Location is fabulous and our room had a sea view and enormous bathroom. Whole place could use some decorating but it would not put us off us off going back again.
